  • Around 2005-2006, TJ was connected to the Internet2 backbone through Network Virginia. One of the reasons (but probably not primary) was that Network Virginia routed IPv6 traffic, which TJ has had the ability to do for several years now. Some originaly IPv6 tomfoolery was done around 1996-1998 by Brent Metz, who experimented with a small Cisco router to allow TJ to use IPv6.
    • Tri School Network: The Tri School Network was a group of three FCPS high schools who were connected to the Internet via a 56k modem connection from UUNet. J.E.B. Stuart and West Springfield High Schools shared our Internet connection through a cable TV circuit. Dates for when the Tri School Network was started or ended are unknown, hence it lives with the other networking information
  • The Book, updated by Dan Tran, was phased out around 2006 in favor of Livedoc - essentially the same content, but in wiki form.
  • Intranet2 - launched in May, the Intranet2 is what now runs the 8th period program
