Friel, formerly known as Chinstrap, was a workstation with Pentium 4 (2.80GHz) CPU, 1GB RAM, and 4x40GB IDE drives in RAID running Debian Testing, was traded in with the Windows IT team for newer workstations.
Friel used to be known as Chinstrap. Chinstrap was a workstation in the CSL Machine Room and used to serve the school mail system due to a shortage of functional servers. This job was moved to Cronos when the time was ready. It was then transitioned and became a testing Windows workstation.
