Threat2 was a dual PII 400MHz machine with 256MB RAM in need of a new name. It has an Intel EtherExpress PRO/100+ NIC, an AHA-2940U2W SCSI adapter, and a Quantum Atlas V 9.1GB hard drive. It ran Slackware Linux 7.0, and is was the Secondary DNS Server, Print Server, Syslog Server, and Finger Server. It is thought to have been retired from the Syslab during the 2002-2003 school year, and the origins of it are unknown.
