Algol, Sol, Polaris, and Sirius (pre-96? - post-96?) were 4 Sun4/390 servers that the lab had around 1996. They each had 4GB of disk space[1] and 32MB of RAM running SunOS 4.1.3, and served file space for home directories, the web server, the ftp server, and just about anything else which is shared among more than one computer. However, there are only two of these now as they have proven to be rather unreliable and they literally blow up and catch on fire[2].
