Centauri was the first Sun Ray server set up to take over Sun Ray services from Xray, a Solaris server on previously-called [[Franklin]]. A DIMM went bad in Centauri in April 2008, and currently needs to be RMA-ed.

Centauri is one of the six X4150s allocated to run Sun Ray services for the Sun Rays around the school. Centauri was received through the 2008 Sun AEG received by the TJ CSL.
